The Barnacle goose – Branta leucopsis is a small migratory black goose of the N Atlantic Arctic Region, it is of Type waterbird in the Family Anatidae and the Order Anseriformes. It migrates S to winter in the islands and coastal areas of NW Europe. The AWB Region is further to the S, and hence it is recorded only as Accidental in Morocco.
