The Razorbill – Alca torda is a large marine Auk of Type – seabird, Family Alcidae and Order Charadriiformes. Apart from breeding it spends its life at sea in the sub-Arctic and Temperate waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. It breeds colonially along suitable cliffs of the N Atlantic, and in winter migrates S to more Temperate waters. In the AWB Region it winters in the Atlantic waters offshore of Morocco.
