Red-breasted flycatcher – Ficedula parva – it is a migratory Eurasian flycatcher of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder from Central Europe to W and SW Asia, there are two populations, in the E it migrates to winter in the Indian sub-continent and in Central Europe it migrates to NW Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to S Caucasus, NW Iran and NW and E Turkey. In Africa it winters in the Maghreb states, Western Sahara and over large desert areas of Algeria and W Mauritania.
