Blue-and-white flycatcher – Cyanoptila cyanomelana – is a migratory Asian flycatcher of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a Far Eastern species, being a summer breeder to Japan and adjacent mainland areas, and it migrates to SE Asia in winter. Its normal range is far from the AWB Region, but it has been found as Accidental in the UAE.
