Sharp-tailed sandpiper – Calidris acuminata – is a smallish migratory Asian shorebird of Type – wader, Family Scolopacidae and Order Charadriiformes. It breeds in the Tundra of far NE Siberia and winters in Australasia. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range but it is recorded as Accidental in Oman.
