Lesser vasa parrot – Coracopsis nigra – is a black coloured resident Malagasy parrot of Type – Psittacine, Family Psittaculidae and Order Psittaciformes. It is Endemic to Madagascar and nearby islands including Comoros, and is found in mangrove swamps and evergreen forests.
