Malagasy swift – Apus balstoni – or Malagasy black swift – is a medium sized resident Malagasy swift of Type – aerialist, Family Apodidae and Order Apodiformes. It is Endemic to the Malagasy Region (Madagascar. Mayotte and Comoros) where it is found over all different habitats.

Type - aerialist - sometimes flocks with other swifts, 
Typical Habitat - found over all island habitats, including its natural moist Tropical Forests,
