Abd al-Kuri sparrow – Passer hemileucus – is a small resident Arabian passerine of Type – granivore, Family Passeridae and Order Passeriformes. It is endemic to the small, thin and long island of Abd al Kuri, in the Socotra archipelago, about half way to the Horn of Africa.
