Black-billed wood-dove – Turtur abyssinicus – is a resident African dove of Type – landfowl, Family Columbidae and Order Columbiformes. It is resident in across the Sahel Belt and and has a small population that migrates to the more densely forested areas near the Gulf of Guinea. In the AWB Region it is resident coast to coast from Mauritania to Eritrea.
