Common bulbul – Pycnonotus barbatus – is a resident medium-sized African passerine of Type – frugivore, Family Pycnonotidae and Order Passeriformes. Apart from true desert areas, it is present over N Africa, extending on the W coast as far S as NW Angola. In the AWB Region it is present in all the N African countries except for Libya.
