Greater hoopoe-lark – Alaemon alaudipes – is a large resident lark of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is widely distributed over the deserts and semi-deserts of N Africa, Arabia and SW Asia into NW India. In the AWB Region it is resident in almost all the states except Turkey, S Caucasus, Djibouti, Socotra and Comoros.
