Western Subalpine warbler – Curruca iberiae – is a small migratory passerine of Type – insectivore, Family Sylviidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to Iberia and NW Africa and in winter migrates to W and SW Sahara Desert areas. It has only recently been made a full species formed by splitting the old Subalpine warbler species into three new ones, Western and Eastern Subalpine warblers and Moltoni’s warbler.
